PT Management Support is conducting a webinar aimed at helping SCOA members start successful physical therapy practices

After years of legislative efforts and litigation, South Carolina orthopaedic surgery groups are finally able to provide physical therapy services to their patients. PT Management Support, which helps orthopaedic and other physician groups start and manage physical and hand therapy services throughout the US, is helping members of the South Carolina Orthopaedic Association start successful PT practices by, among other efforts, conducting a webinar will address PT staffing, clinic location, equipment purchases, management structure, compensation plans, billing and other key topics. In addition to addressing the basic steps necessary to start a successful physical therapy practice, PT Management Support will also provide benchmarking information on physical therapy productivity and financial metrics so that orthopaedic surgery groups have the tools they need to offer financially viable and exemplary physical therapy services to their patients.

According to Cary Edgar, President of PT Management Support, “South Carolina orthopaedic surgery groups have fought hard to be able to offer physical therapy to their patients and those of us who have been involved in orthopaedic-based physical therapy throughout the years should do what we can to help South Carolina groups start successful physical therapy practices as soon as possible.”
